St. Cloud State University invites you to our "Be the Broadcaster" event during SCSU’s Discover Red & Black open house! "Be The Broadcaster" is yearly event hosted by the SCSU Mass Communications Department for high school students interested in broadcast production and journalism.
"Be The Broadcaster" offers tours of the on campus Mass Communications Television studios, a panel discussion with recent graduates working in the media industry and hands-on opportunities for high school students to use and interact with real-world broadcast equipment with students and faculty. If you are interested in a career in Mass Communications, this is the perfect opportunity to visit campus and check out SCSU’s award-winning broadcasting program. You will also get to experience the following:
Hear from SCSU alumni who are current professionals in the field.
Participate in tours of our state-of-the-art facilities and sound stages.
Engage in hands-on experiences with professional equipment.
