Sam Roering is a Mass Communications major with a concentration in Journalism at St. Cloud State University. She began her college journey as a post-secondary enrollment student, completing her first two years of college while in high school. During that time, she was an active contributor to the University Chronicle, focusing on sports stories. In her junior year, she expanded her experience in sports media by joining UTVS. She developed a passion for broadcast and took on the role of news director. She also got involved with the world of social media, running the social media for two different student organizations. In her free time, she enjoys listening to Taylor Swift and watching hockey.
