Matt has always loved making videos and content. At Farmington High School he was involved with Tiger News, the school's weekly student-run news broadcast. While there, he worked as a camera operator and edited news features. Matt graduated from Farmington High School in 2021 but was undecided on his major so he attended Inver Hills Community College for 2 years and got his associate's degree in 2023. After getting his associates degree, broadcasting still stood out to him so he chose to go to SCSU for the Mass Communication Program. He immediately got involved with UTVS and quickly joined every show. Outside of UTVS he enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching sports, and staying active.
