Returning this year is the UTVS Live Webcast! A huge, huge “thank you” to the fine folks in the LR&TS department for supporting the web streaming technology to your computer. Here are the
rules:
- You need to be outside our viewing area! The webcast can only support a limited number of viewers -- if you can pull in UTVS on your TV, please do so, and save the stream for someone else who can’t!
- You will most likely want a cable modem or better connection to view the stream, but you may have success with a dial-up connection.
- LR&TS and Saint Cloud State University are in no way responsible for the content of the webcast provided. Content for the webcast is provided
exclusively by UTVS Television, who is responsible for its content.
- For Windows Operating Systems you will need Microsoft Windows Media Player installed.
Windows Media Player is available free of charge by following this link:
- For Mac Operating Systems you will need both Apple Quicktime and Flip4Mac WMV Player installed.
Both are available free of charge by following these links:

Read all that? Okay, great. Then you’re ready to launch the webcast!
Some users who have trouble with the above link may find success by doing a “File” “Open URL” in Windows Media Player, and entering the following URL:
mms://199.17.47.136:8080
If you are having problems with the above link, you can also try this link.
Good luck!
