Back to the Movies

We produce a 30 minute weekly show covering student and independently made films, created in and around Minnesota. We work together to write, shoot, and edit interviews and short film segments that we include in the show. We also showcase student films that anyone can submit and give future filmmakers tips on how to make films. Our small group, consisting of TV, film, and a couple computer science majors, strives to put out the best show we can each week.

How to Help:
Back to the movies shoots 8-13 episodes each semester that SCSU is in session. The show is entirely student produced by members of UTVS. There are a number of different ways you can get involved:
 -Attend the UTVS general meeting at the beginning of each semester to get more information.
 -Go to the UTVS Newsroom (SH 123) and ask for the producer for Back to the Movies.
 -Email and ask how to get involved.
